The oldest city in America has one of the best small tiki scenes in the state, and it deserves a crew that treats it that way. Rum has been coming ashore here for centuries; we're just keeping the tradition social.
The St. Augustine shortlist
Three rooms anchor our St. Augustine map: The Conch House and its iconic waterfront tiki huts, Suffering Bastard Tiki doing true tiki in the old city, and Boat Drinks, a tropical craft sanctuary pouring rare rums. When a Mixer lands in St. Augustine, it lands in rooms like these.
Rum, Polynesian Pop, and the slow drink
This is a club for people who read the back of the rum bottle: aged Jamaicans, rhum agricole, the orgeat-and-falernum end of the cocktail canon, and the exotica records that go with them. If your idea of a good night is a well-built Mai Tai somewhere with thatch on the ceiling, you already belong.
One membership, the whole coast
St. Augustine members are part of the Northeast Florida chapter: the same free membership covers Mixers in Jacksonville, beach Socials up and down the coast, and Ember Nights in Ponte Vedra Beach. Trop rock and Parrot Head folks: yes, that means boat drinks in more than one port.
